Aaron Collins, digital learning professional

I’m a senior digital learning professional, instructional designer and digital adoption specialist with more than 20 years’ experience. I combine learning strategy and platform leadership with hands-on expertise in Storyline, Captivate, LMS implementation, digital adoption, instructional storyboarding and multimedia development.

What I bring

I translate complex clinical, technical and business processes into accessible, learner-centred solutions. I’ve led global learning ecosystems, competency frameworks, systems-adoption programmes and regulated learning initiatives while working closely with senior leaders, clinicians, SMEs and operational teams.

My expertise includes global learning strategy and governance, healthcare and regulated learning, LMS and digital adoption implementation, and the full content - development lifecycle - from storyboarding and development through to quality assurance and accessibility. I also design and build responsive, user-friendly websites.

I have translated complex clinical evidence, treatment pathways, technologies and regulated processes into accessible learning for healthcare professionals, engineers and pharmaceutical teams. I use AI-enabled tools including ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Canva Magic Studio, Synthesia, Scribe, Vyond and Camtasia to support research, ideation, storyboarding, visual design, assessment drafting and rapid prototyping.

Content development can include interactive eLearning, AI-presenter videos, animations, software demonstrations, step-by-step guides, job aids, microlearning, assessments and performance-support resources.

AI accelerates the creative process but never replaces professional judgement. Every output is reviewed through an instructional-design lens and remains subject to SME validation, factual accuracy, accessibility checks and rigorous quality assurance.

The core skills of instructional design, content development, problem solving and consultancy are always at the fore and are irreplaceable.
